I know I haven’t been on in days but I gotta vent and here I am….
It ALL boils down to the motherfucking “INTENT!!!!!!!”
So here it is in a nutshell….Yesterday my daughter (10) started talking to a “boy” on facebook. Based on the conversation, I am convinced that she was not talking to a 10 year old boy, I believe she was being targeted by a sexual predator. I’ve been watching ‘Dateline: To Catch A Predator’ all day and it just clicked in my head when I heard Chris Hansen mention “intent.”
—Flashback—5 years ago I woke up at 5:30am and found a strange man asleep on my couch, dressed only in boxer shorts, with my daughter, and with his hand down her pants. This man did not get convicted for any sexual crimes and DOES NOT have to register as a sex offender…..EVEN THOUGH I FOUND HIM WITH HIS HAND DOWN MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER’S PANTS!!!
The reason he wasn’t convicted? They couldn’t prove “INTENT.”
So here’s Chris Hansen with a predator…
Chris: Did you bring condoms?
Pervert: No, I wasn’t gonna do anything.
Chris: But you just offered to go pick some up; what do you think that says about your intent?
Seriously??? Don’t get me wrong, get these fucking assholes off the motherfucking street already and away from our children!!!
But these guys talk to someone online, drive somewhere to meet up with them, and simply have the INTENT upon sleeping with someone and they go to prison….
Yet a man who I literally caught red handed has zero repercussions because they couldn’t prove that he INTENDED to do what he did.
WTF!!!
